The head coach at Olalomi Royal Volleyball Club Academy Offa, Kwara State, Faremi Mary Oluwabukola has applauded the founder of MOK Foundation, Mr. Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode as “God sent and a philanthropist per excellence.”

She said the Academy immensely benefited from Mr. Muhydeen Okunlola’s philanthropy as the latter donated N200,000 and supported the volleyball team during its participation in national volleyball league.

She also revealed that Mr. Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode has promised to host the female team to a dinner, to celebrate their victory for winning the league and bringing the trophy to Offa.

Recall Olalomi Royal Spikers (the female team) emerged champion of the 2023 National Division 1 Volleyball League in the women categories in October, 2023. Olalomi Royal Spikers beat Nigeria Air Force 3-2 (19-25, 18-25, 25-18, 25-21, 15-13) in the women’s match. Thus, become the first female team to achieve the feat.

Faremi made this known in a statement she personally signed on Saturday, November 4, 2023 and made available to newsmen.

“Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode is a God sent and a philanthropist per excellence.

“On behalf of my team Olalomi Royal Volleyball Club Academy Offa, Kwara State, we really want to thank the chairman of MOK foundation, Engineer Muhydeen Kayode Okunlola for the subversion of 200k given to the team.

“He has been a great help during our participation in national volleyball league financially and he has promised to be keen in making these youths happy by providing a suitable platform and means to enable us to engage and participate in our national games easily.

“We can only pray to God for more wisdom, long life and sound health for you and the entire MOK foundation.”
