The MOK Foundation, a non governmental and philanthropic organization in Offa has doled out a second batch of cash disbursement to empower small-scale business owners in Offa and its environs on Friday 14th April 2023 and equally distributed foodstuffs to over two thousand indigents on Sunday 16th of April 2023.
The cash reward for SMEs and food items distribution is one of the philanthropic programs of the foundation earmarked to assist entrepreneurs and the less privileged.
A beneficiary, Ganiyu Ademola lauded the foundation’s usual assistance to the less privileged. He added that the MOK gesture is going a long way to reduce the level of poverty among people at the grassroots.
Another beneficiary, Mulikat Buraimoh thanked the Foundation for the cash reward. She prayed for the continuous progress of MOK toward its selfless service to humanity.
Similarly, Adijat Muritala emphasized that the Foundation is doing a lot for the needy. She referenced the first batch of the cash reward and foodstuffs distribution which covered over 2000 people. She noted that the weekly cash disbursement of the foundation is amazing and rare in the community. She prayed for the founder’s breakthrough in all his endeavors.
Also, a man identified as Zaka Azeez commended the poverty alleviation program of the Foundation, he added that the philanthropic activities of the Foundation are helping many people who have no means of livelihood. He prayed for more success for the organization in all ramifications.
Earlier, the Foundation paid NECO fees for indigent students across secondary schools in Offa. This is to build the gap in education and assist students who can not afford tuition fees in secondary schools. The students appreciated the Foundation and promised not to disappoint the organization in their examinations.
MOK Foundation programs include philanthropic projects that are aimed to bring succor to the people at the grassroots through entrepreneurship, health care support, educational support, and monetary assistance.
